The stall game vs South Carolina, who had John Roche, Kevin Joyce, Tom Owens and Tom Riker, all future pros..a win in o.t. as Jim “Bozo” O’Brien hits the game winner after MD led at the half 4-3. Super Bowl Sunday MD vs NCST, a heartbreaking loss to David Thompson and his Wolfpack friends.

MD vs NCST in ACC Final. Another heartbreaking defeat in overtime to David Thompson with a career game from Tom Burleson.   Terps with Yo Adrian Branch and Len Bias defeat Duke in ACC Tourney Final. Duke defeats MD in last seconds of ACC Final. Thank you Kenny Dennard for riding out Buck Williams and no call by the ref.

MD becomes the first team to beat NC in the Dean Dome as Len Bias stars.  Remember that reverse dunk?  Cliff Tucker hits a game winner at the buzzer as Terps sting the Yellow Jackets.

MD defeats NC and Bob McAdoo, Bobby Jones, Dennis Wycik and George Karl in o.t. before the largest crowd to ever witness a basketball game in Cole Field House. And of course,  the Steve Blake’s steal and the Terps beat Duke on their way to a National Championship.

With NCST leading 17-2 an injured Steve ”The Bear” Sheppard drags his injured leg off the bench and leads the Terps to a win in Raleigh.
