Duke 84 Terps 63 —Last Visit to Cameron

Preseason ACC Player of the Year Alyssa Thomas picked up 14 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists, but it wasn’t enough as the eighth-ranked Maryland women’s basketball team fell at No. 7 Duke, 84-63 Monday.

The Terrapins suffered through a cold-shooting night, averaging just 32.4 percent from the field, well under their average of 49 percent.

Freshman Lexie Brown added 13 points and senior Alicia DeVaughn had 10 points and eight boards.
