Senior Beth Glaros erupted for six goals to lift the No. 2 Maryland women’s lacrosse team to a 19-10 victory at No. 6 Duke Saturday at Koskinen Stadium.
Glaros nearly doubled her goal output for the season with six against Duke (3-2, 0-1 ACC). The senior also added three draw controls, two ground balls and two caused turnovers to give Maryland (6-0, 1-0 ACC) its first conference win in 2014. Sophomore Taylor Cummings tallied a season-high five goals and posted seven draw controls, three caused turnovers and a pair of ground balls to lead the Terps.
