The euphoria of a great conference win wore off quickly for me. How can I say this? I want to be invited to the dance. The odds are long but the ability is there–that is to take the ACC Title back to College Park.
By the way:
I had talked with Wayne how positive it would be for Gary to actually sit on the floor for a Terp game. Sunday he did just that and there is no measuring the positive vibes that flowed from his appearance there.
Tournament guru Patrick Stevens responded tha with one more tournament win the Terps would probably lock up a NIT bid. Maryland fans need more.
Stevie Francis sat just to the left of me on Sunday and in the whole arena there was no fan rooting harder then him for a Terp win.
