Syracuse returns home this week following a blowout victory over Central Michigan. The Orange survived in two overtimes against Villanova in its opening contest of the season.
Terrel Hunt orchestrates the Syracuse offense. The junior has completed 63 percent of his passes for 269 yards and one score. He also has rushed for 117 yards and three touchdowns.
The Orange boast a two-headed rushing attack that includes Adonis Ameen-Moore (125 yards) and P.T Gulley (119 yards).
Head coach Scott Shafer is in his second season as head coach and sixth year overall at Syracuse. He served as the defensive coordinator under now Buffalo Bills head coach Doug Marrone for four seasons before assuming the head job. Shafer previously had stops at Stanford and Michigan. He led the Orange to an win in the Texas Bowl last season.
