A Star Is Born in Defeat —CJ Mosley–15 Tackles –1 Interception But Ravens Lose to Indy 20-13

I hate losing to any Irsay anytime but I was overwhelmed by the magnetic performance of 1st Round pick CJ Mosley.

The Ravens for the most part just absolutely stink on the road. Why? I just don’t know but that was why I predicted defeat this morning on In The Nest. The offense never got going and only stellar play by the defense kept this game in check. Andrew Luck is big, smart , accurate and just maybe the best QB in football today if and when he gets the Colts a ring. Luck did have protection for the most part but he was able to just sidestep the rush when he had to. Not a great day for Luck with 2 ints but enough to win.

Highlights for the Ravens:

Good Running by Forsett

Gutty effort by the defense to create turnovers especially in the last few minutes.

Haloti Ngata’s 2nd interception of the year

Lowlights

4th and 1 is just a dead situation for the Ravens. They should have taken the 3 points  early on. Their percentage of making the 1st down is pathetic.

Drops by Torrey and Steve Smith

Jacobi’s fumble on the punt

Unable to convert turnovers in the Colts territory to TDs

The return game

Seemed like TJ Hilton and Reggie wayne were open all day

The Ravens are 3-2 and head to a revived Tampa next week
