from Ty Xanders of Inside Lacrosse
Timmy Monahan, A, Gonzaga (D.C.)
Affiliation: Blackwolf
Commitment: Maryland
The former Ohio State commit, a remarkably two-handed dodger with a great IQ, surely made John Tillman rather ecstatic when he chose the Terps over Loyola in his re-recruitment. Monahan put up 50 goals and 27 assists (plus an absurd 100 groundballs) for the WCAC champs, consistently going hard to the cage and working well within the offense as their de facto leader. Has the chance to become one of the Purple Eagles’ all-time greats with a big senior campaign.
Louis Dubick, A, Churchill (Md.)
Affiliation: Baltimore Crabs
Commitment: Maryland
364 career points in three years jump off the page no matter what competition you’re playing. There’s been no answer for Dubick, who returned from injury (missed most of the playoffs and all of rising junior summer) to dominate via 76 goals and 46 assists. Gets under his defender and turns the corner extremely well, using a strong repertoire of moves around GLE. Another awesome attack recruit headed to College Park.
