Random thoughts on the Terps
Another nice win for the Terps. The 17-2 run in the first half was incredible and then Minnesota goes on a 13-2 run. They went from on fire to ice cold in a blink of an eye.
Damonte, call me “Mister Dodd”, continues to get better. The kid has skills. Don’t forget, Dodd was a mere 6-5 in high school and “overnight” grew 5 to 6 inches so he’s still getting use to being big. He’s making plays and gaining confidence. Dodd has a high ceiling.
Forward Jake Layman is a different player this year. Inside, outside, passing, blocking shots, grabbing rebounds, the lanky Junior has taken his game to a higher level.
The spacing and passing on the offensive side has been excellent. 180 degree difference from the last couple of yrs.
It’s fun to look forward to the “next game”.
