Indiana topped Michigan, 70-67, in Bloomington on Sunday. The Hoosiers were led by Troy Williams and Yogi Ferrell, who posted 20 and 18 points, respectively.
IU has three players averaging 13 or more points per game, including James Blackmon, Jr. (16.3), Ferrell (16.0) and Williams (13.3). Indiana boasts the top scoring offense in the league, posting 79.8 points per outing.
Maryland trails in the all-time series, 6-2, and fell to a hot-shooting Hoosier squad, 89-70, on Jan. 22 in Bloomington. IU connected on 60 percent of its shots, including a scorching 15-for-22 from three-point range en route to the victory. Jake Layman and Jared Nickens recorded 13 and 12 points, respectively, to lead Maryland.
