The Maryland women’s basketball team (30-2) earned a top seed in the NCAA Tournament for the fourth time in school history and third under head coach Brenda Frese. The Terrapins will play New Mexico State (22-7) on Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
Maryland will also welcome undefeated Princeton (30-0) and ninth-seeded Green Bay (28-4) to College Park, who will play at 11 a.m. Saturday. The winners of Saturday’s games will advance to Monday’s 6:30 p.m. Second Round contest, which will also take place in College Park. All three games will be shown on the ESPN2. from espn.com
