The Maryland football team will hold its annual Fan Appreciation Day Saturday, Aug. 22 at 1:00 p.m. at Capital One Field at Byrd Stadium, as it holds an intersquad scrimmage for the public.
Athletics department officials will be on hand for a select-a-seat event throughout the scrimmage, providing information on available season ticket packages for the 2015 season.
After the team’s scrimmage, head coach Randy Edsall and student-athletes will participate in an autograph session on the visiting team sideline of the field. Fans are encouraged to gather at field level to interact with student-athletes and obtain autographs.
Maryland football posters, schedule cards and other giveaways will be available at the marketing tables.
