What a strange Masters it was this year. Not only did you have Spieth’s implosion on 12 yesterday, but how can we forget Ernie Els with the worst case of the yips I’ve ever seen on the first hole on Thursday.
And in a demonstration of just how remarkable Spieth’s troubles were, how many people even today remember that Sunday had not one, not two, but three holes in one on 16 on the final day of the Masters and especially the ridiculous carom off another ball by Oosthuizen?
