last sat. hills did not play well. he missed 3 deep passes that potentially could have produced 3 td’s. the receivers on all 3 plays were wide open and behind the defense. plus he lost a fumble and had a pick and had several passes float around in space.
qb’s need to make plays. perry is lacking in that department. he’s a good runner, a tough kid but a below average passer and honestly he is not getting the job done very well at md. being able to complete a lot of very short passes to build up your completion % doesn’t mean you are good
but we knew coming into the season hills like rowe weren’t very good d 1 qb’s. it is what it is.
