Terp Talk begins at 5:45 PM on Wednesday.
3 days later and I still can’t believe how Melo got so open on his final drive to win the game. Someone mentioned a big men split play whatever that may be. 17,000 in the arena, every person watching on the tube knew that Melo was going to drive to the bucket but once again #2 came through.
The Terps still can’t crack the top 25 AP poll though they also fell out of the top 25 in the Coaches Poll. No big deal at this point –just keep winning.
Last year I was a critic of Jaylen Brantley but no more. The kid was fantastic Saturday night. Without his productive play, defeat would have arrived.
The Terps play Howard at Xfinity 9PN Wedsnesday
From Stan Charles in Press Box, it appears that the O’s have expressed desire to sign Trumbo though at a slight reduction from his 4 year 80 million dollar quest. If the O’s get near 70, Trumbo would be foolish to leave the short left field HR area aided by the Hilton.
Can’t believe the O’s would attempt to sign Fowler after the fiasco last year.
As if the Nationals don’t have enough pitching, they are making a hard play play for Chris Sale.
I am still trying to figure out what team I was watching Sunday at M&T. They were in purple but was it really the Ravens? Was that Flacco playing the role of the Maestro, even discussing plays with his teammates on the sidelines. Showtime is next Monday at New England where the Patriots are a 7 point favorite.
Another miserable, unwatchable Monday night night game as the Colts walloped the Jets. How in the world could have the Ravens lost to the Jets.
Klay Thompson scored 60 last night in the Warriors victory. Hasn’t been a great tear for Klay as he adjusts to the addition of KD.
Wizards defeated San Antonio in OT. Last week.
Kirk Cousins continues to put big numbers on the board but the Skins lose again. Do you like that?
Tiger finished 4 rounds which is an achievement but he came in 15th out of 18 and faltered in Day 4 with a 76. Definitely great to see him back however.
