Jackson, Huerter Combine for 47 Points as Terps Move to 7-1 in the Big Ten With 85-78 Win in Minn

Observations:

No wall today for the freshman–Justin Jackson was spectacular–28 points ( inc 5-5 on treys) and 10 rebounds

Huerter 19 points on 7-10 shooting

Cowant bounced back after a sluggish startto help lead the way down the wire

and of course Memo was well Melo=—13 points , 9 assists,  7 rebounds–some great no looks to the Bigs

59 points for the Terps in the 2nd half after a terrible start

Give credit to Minnesota–it took everything the Terps had offensively to pull this one out

19 assists and but 7 turnovers though it seemed like more

Terps were outrebounded 41-31 as our 3 bigs combined for only 6 boards

So the Terps share the lead with Wisconsin at 7-1, Wisc struggled to beat Rutgers in OT

Next up OSU on the road Tuesday —Look for the Terps to squeak into the top 20 on Monday

Terps offense much better when Melo scores less and passes more. He drove the basket and passed to open men in the corner for open threes instead of continuing his drives and throwing up a wild shot. Maybe he finally gets it.

About time people start talking about Turgeon for B1G Coach of the Year?
