A 17-3 year didn’t have a golden ending, as the Terps fell in overtime to North Carolina on Memorial Day. The attack (Matt Rambo, Colin Heacock, Dylan Maltz) is back. Most concerning are losses at midfield — Bryan Cole, Henry West and Pat Young. Plus, defenseman Mac Pons won’t be in the lineup for the first half of the year, but LSM Matt Neufeldt should be after missing the 2016 seaon. His groundball prowess is worth a few percentage points to face-off man Austin Henningsen. Goalie Dan Morris has been waiting patiently, and now it’s his turn. Tim Muller and Bryce Young are sturdy defenders. I’m interested to see how coach John Tillman utilizes freshman Jared Bernhardt (No. 3 Power 100), who was the best player on the U.S. U-19 Team gold medal squad, and what tempo these Terps find suitable.

the bullets-cavs game was great. why oh why was beal guarding james on that last second play……wouldn’t obre been a better choice because of his length…..and why wasn’t james fouled before the shot. great shot by james….great in-bounds pass from love. poor defense and poor planning by the wiz.
