Terps Make Immanuel Quickley’s Final Four 4

A post by Jordan

What a great weekend to be a Terp. The Terps won two titles at Foxbrough in men’s and women’s lacrosse, and Maryland baseball earned a tournament birth. On the basketball side, the 5 star PG out of Bel Air, MD Immanuel Quickley has announced the final four schools that he is considering. In no particular order, here are his top four according to Scout:

“Kentucky: ‘Coach [John] Calipari, what he’s done with men like me. Getting freshman PG’s, developing them and getting them to the NBA is what I like about Kentucky.’

Kansas: ‘Coach Bill Self is great on and off the floor. I really liked the feel of Allen Fieldhouse when I visited. The feel there was cool to see.’

Maryland: ‘That’s my hometown. I think hometown always has an advantage. What coach [Mark] Turgeon has done the past two or three years is special.’

Miami: ‘I think we really connected with Miami when they came and visited. All four coaches, in a good and positive way. Coach [Jim] Larrañaga is a great guy and I respect him on and off the floor. He’s great guy.’”

Quickley is considered a top flight recruit by all major services, he is ranked 12th by ESPN, 10th by Scout, 9th by 24/7 Sports, and 15th by Rivals.
