Bad Day for the Terps and Especially for the Big 10

It’s not like this was the first loss of the season but the 31-24 defeat at the hands of Rutgers really bothered me :

Rutgers ran through our Defensive line like it wasn’t there. Play after play after play.

The loss really makes it appear that 6 wins is out of the question.

Max B’s pick 6 interception was so predictable. He has to learn to get rid of the ball sooner and NOT to throw when in the grasp of an opponent.

Max led with head on the short running play that caused his removal.

What a waste of a tremendous performance from 5th String QB Ryan Brand—only to have it spoiled by a holding call.

The TD drop by Taivon Jacobs was the real turning point in this game.

Terps are now 4-5 with games remaining against Michigan (H), Michigan State, and Penn State (H)

With the top 3 teams in the East having 2 losses and Wisconsin having such a weak schedule, it is highly unlikely for a Big 10 squad to make the final 4.
