After about 5 minutes I wasn’t sure if the Lakers were in town instead of Radford. The upset minded small Va school lead 19-10 at the 15 minute mark. But the Terps settled in, grabbed a 34-32 halftime lead and never looked back, scoring 44 points in the 2nd half.
jalen Smith Jr was a late scratch from the game, suffering severe flu symptoms after warm ups. But Bruno took over, scoring 19 points despite being double and sometimes triple teamed all night.
The Terps spread the floor nicely, moved the ball well and wound up with 7 treys and many wipe open shots.
Morsell and Ayala combined for 27 points on 10-20 shooting. The Terps outrebounded Radford 43-28. Radford had upset Notre Dame and Texas on the road.
Maryland moves to 10-3 on the year and next faces Nebraska on Wednesday, the 1st of 18 remaining conference games.
