Rockville, MD – We’re proud to share some exciting news from the TerpTalk family. Jordan Viener, a longtime member of our team and one of the voices behind the YoungTerps/TerpTalk podcast, has been named Chief Brand Officer at VienerX Consulting.
Jordan has been a central figure in TerpTalk’s growth. From producing and co-hosting the YoungTerps podcast (now the TerpTalk Podcast)— recognized as “Best of the Big Ten” — to his photography, video work, and storytelling, he has helped bring Maryland fans closer to the action. His energy, creativity, and commitment to getting the story right have been hallmarks of his time here.
Beyond TerpTalk, Jordan built a career in college athletics communications. He served as Head Student SID at North Dakota State, then at Temple University as SID for Women’s Basketball and Lacrosse, before being recruited to La Salle University in Philadelphia as Assistant Athletic Director for Communications/Digital Media and Sports Information Director for Men’s Basketball. Along the way, he earned his Master’s Degree in Communications from Temple University.
Now, Jordan takes the next step as Chief Brand Officer at VienerX, a Rockville-based enterprise technology and IT consulting firm with a national footprint. In this new role, he’ll lead communications strategy, brand development, and culture — drawing on the same leadership and storytelling skills that Maryland fans have seen firsthand on TerpTalk.
We’re thrilled to see Jordan continue to grow his career. From TerpTalk to VienerX, he brings with him a deep commitment to winning, building culture, and getting the message right.
Congratulations, Jordan — and Go Terps!
