Who? Yea the same Aubrey Huff, MacPhail gave away for nothing. Huff has 11 HRS and 36 ribbies and bats 3rd for the Giants with a .305 Batting Average. Absolutely unbelievable!!!
John Tillman has been hired as the University of Maryland’s head men’s lacrosse coach, Director of Athletics Deborah A. Yow announced today, becoming the ninth coach in the 85-year history of the program. Tillman comes to College Park after three years returning Harvard lacrosse to national prominence and twelve seasons as the top assistant at Navy, during which the Midshipmen experienced some of the best years in their storied history. He has signed a seven-year contract.

Why is it role players play much better at home? Lamar Odum, Farmar, Shannon Brown, etc played excellent tonight helping the Lakers to an easy win over Boston. Perhaps Rondo is a bit tired. Ray Allen and Paul Pierce must play out of their minds Thursday night or else the Celtics will lose its first game 7 ever to LA. I would really feel sorry for all those Celtic fans who are also Red Sox fans.

Jake Arietta again put in an excellent performance. He pitched 7 strong innings and left after giving a leadoff single in the 8th. His Line—1 earned run, 3 hits, 2 walks, 3 ks, 55 strikes on 93 pitches. He left with the 0s up 4-1, a lead that could have been much higher with 1 or 2 timely hits. It’s utterly amazing how Guy Laliberte could produce such a great show in Love about the Beatles and create a flop about the King. I was able to get half price tickets online and now I know why.
