I was in LA this past weekend and journeyed out to Dodger Stadium with me son. Here are some observations:
There is no doubt in my mind that the loss of Jamie Luskin has affected the team in a negative way. The fans I talked have said the team is just playing dead..

I guess the losing has finally gotten to Milwood. 11-4, swept, 2-7 for the new skip. What next?
Every game its a new attack mode for Boston whereras with LA its strictly Kobe. Tonight it was Paul Pierce and Rondo down the wire. It just seems when everyone else is down to 4 cylinders Rondo is still running on all 8. The Lakers are barely getting any offense outside of Kobe. Of course the last 2 games are in LA where Staple Center will be in a frenzy. Artest seems to be lost in space. If the Lakers … Read More »
In a story that won’t vanish, AD Debbie Yow reaffirmed Maryland’s committment to the ACC. Apparently the Big 10 has been wooing Maryland or at least is about to. One of the 7 charter members of the ACC, Yow had first stated her loyalty at the Baltimore Terrapin Club meeting 1 month ago.

Profit, a junior from Pasadena, Calif., finished with 5,682 points in the seven-event competition. Junior Brianne Theisen of host Oregon won the event with 6,094 points, while Alabama senior Chealsea Taylor was third at 5,617.
I’ve never met Bino but from what I have read and heard he will be a tremendous asset to the university and the basketball program. It seems like this was a job he has waited his whole life for. The following is an excerpt from umterps.com

Has anyone seen Artest or Odum lately. The Big Baby came to win last night as he crawled and fought his way to victory. Outside of Kobe and Gasol the Lakers came up empty on offense. Game 5 is sunday night.
