The Terrapins fell Saturday to the 12th ranked Indiana Hoosiers, 27-11. Maryland traveled to Memorial Stadium down 23 players, due to the COVID-19 outbreak which had sidelined them for the past two weeks. That includes nine starters, which was a big factor in the loss.

Maryland came into Friday’s game looking to build off of their 1-0 start. They took on the Navy Midshipmen who defeated George Washington to begin their season, 78-71. Coming in, Maryland was 25-9 all-time against Navy, beating them most recently back in 2018 according to sports-reference.com.

Basketball returned to College Park for the first time in 262 days, as the Terrapins defeated Old Dominion 88-65. Maryland got off to a slow start, per usual, but ended the first half on a 16-4 run to take a 42-29 lead into halftime.
