The Terps travelled to Happy Valley to take on the surprisingly 0-2 Nittany Lions, in an attempt to bounce back from last season’s abomination of a performance and to hopefully get their first win against Penn State since 2014. After the lows and highs of weeks one and two, the craziness of the 2020 Maryland football season is just getting started. Week 3 could be just as wild.
It’s rivalry week for the Terps, as they head to Happy Valley to take on a struggling 0-2 Penn State.

Following a horrid showing last weekend against Northwestern, Maryland looked to bounce back against Minnesota in a primetime slate on ESPN. Both teams’ defenses looked suspect in their first outings, and especially Maryland’s run defense. Led by Mohamed Ibrahim, Minnesota’s run game is their strong suit, so containing him was on the top of the Terps’ priority list.
