Definitely sounded like the O’s had at least 1/3 of the 35,000 fans
Chris Davis’ HR turned the tide. Davis has been in one of the worst slumps I have seen
Hardy, Machado (5 hits), and Cruz also Homered
For the 1st time all year I have a feeling about this squad
Chris Tillman pitched a strong 7 innings. Buck judiciously used his bullpen.
Very impressed with the lineup of the Nats

Today, Maryland and Rutgers officially join the Big Ten. It would have looked like a April Fool’s Day headline just a few years ago, but today it’s reality, and it’s time to take a look at the financial reality behind this decision.

After many frustrating attempts, my team (Captain Sam Andelman, Cliff Gelb, and Sam Blibaum) pulled off a 10 under back nine on day 2 to capture a share of the Bernard G Robbins Senior Classic at Woodholme . Our squad and the co-winners (Larry Lessans, Mike Renbaum, Leonard Grossman, and Richard Friedlander) battled through a pressure packed single hole playoff to a draw. 3 great innings from Brad Broch who gets the win
As expected Chris Davis was “given the day off”
JJ Hardy drove in David Lough for the winning hit
Zach Britton—1,2,3 save—-helped out by base running error from Big Poppy
4 game series with the Senators begins Monday
It pains me to say this but it is time for Chris Davis to sit out a few games. His average has dropped to 201, but more important he has struck out 41 of his last 90 at bats, many with men in scoring position. He just looks lost during his at bats.
