One of the great moments in NCAA championship history was when Maryland took the field at M&T for the semi final matchup against Duke in 2011. 38,000 fans were there–95% of them Maryland fans. The stadium exploded and Maryland went on to destroy Duke. I only hope it’s replicated Saturday..

On to Bmore. Wow what a great day for Maryland. The offense led by Mike Chanenckuck’s 9 points was spot on all day. Charlie Raffa once again defeated a worthy man at the X by winning 9 out of the first 10 face offs. Much more later on but for now what a weekend it will be. The women advanced to the final 4 at Towson, by easily defeating Duke 15-8. It’s a great day to be a Terp!!!!!!!!!!!

The Preakness field and distance are not different enough from the Derby to expect a different outcome. The pace scenario should allow him to stay in stalking position, as his preference. Unless he has an off day, California Chrome should win it. Social Inclusion is very lightly raced and … Read More »
