Towson senior Jerrelle Benimon registered his eighth straight double-double and classmate Marcus Damas tied his career-high with 26 points as the Tigers won at Drexel, 80-68, on Tuesday evening.

Towson (11-6, 2-0 CAA) won its fourth straight game overall and third straight against Drexel, which falls to 9-7 on the year and 1-2 in league play. The Tigers have won 10 of their last 11 CAA games dating back to last season.

Seattle had many chances to put this game away and never was able to. Why Colston didn’t step out of bounds is an utter mystery to me.

New England will represent the AFC in New York no matter who wins the Denver  San Diego game.

Look for the 49ers to advance to Seattle today. They are on a roll, play great on the road, and facing a team whose QB and Head Coach are in their 1st playoff game.
