Despite boasting a strong 7-3 record, NC Central has lost two of its last three contests at IUPUI and Wichita State. The Eagles upset in-state foe NC State earlier this season in overtime, 82-72.

National Player of the Year candidate Alyssa Thomas scored a season-high 28 points and grabbed her 1,000th rebound as No. 8 Maryland routed the College of Charleston 103-51 on Sunday in the Terrapin Classic championship game.
