Sophomore guard Seth Allen sustained a fracture of the fifth metatarsal in his left foot and will miss 8-10 weeks, head coach Mark Turgeon announced today.
Allen suffered the injury at the conclusion of Tuesday evening’s practice as he drove to the basket and landed awkwardly on his left foot. He is scheduled to have surgery on Thursday, which will be performed by Dr. Craig Bennett at Kernan Hospital in Baltimore.

The Ravens made a couple of surprising roster moves this morning, cutting a pair of veterans, safety Michael Huff and defensive end Marcus Spears.
Baltimore signed safeties Omar Brown and Brynden Trawick from the practice squad to take the open spots on the 53-man roster. The team also signed wideout Kamar Aiken and quarterback Nick Stephens to the practice squad.
