The Maryland men’s basketball team will host an open practice at Comcast Center on Saturday, October 12 from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m.

 Fans are encouraged to enter Comcast Center through Gate E.

 Coach Turgeon and selected student-athletes will be available to the media directly after the open practice.

 Parking options include utilizing a gameday football parking pass or parking at Terrapin Trail Garage for $15.

Top-ranked Maryland field hockey shut out Hofstra, 6-0, Tuesday night at the Field Hockey & Lacrosse Complex to move to 12-0 on the year. Senior captain Ali McEvoy and junior Maxine Fluharty led the way with two goals each.

Senior Patrick Mullins tallied the lone goal as the No. 5 Maryland men’s soccer team escaped No. 2 Notre Dame with a 1-1 draw Tuesday.

Maryland (5-2-4, 4-0-2 ACC) was keyed by a tremendous defensive effort as the Terps kicked off the first leg of their most difficult road trip of the year.  Freshman Zack Steffen racked up five saves to anchor the effort against Notre Dame (6-0-4, 3-0-3 ACC).
