In the top of the 8th–McClouth singled, then Manny hit his 51st double of the year to put runners on 2nd and third. Davis and Jones grounded to short and Markakis flew to center. 0 RUNS—
But then in the 9th DH danny Valencia tripled and Matt Wieters drove him in with a sac fly. Johnson closed the Sox out in the 9th and O’s are now 80-70 with 12 games left.
