Major league Lacrosse has recognized Drew Snider for his 2013 performance with the Denver Outlaws, awarding him with Most Improved Player honors as voted on by the league’s coaches and general managers.
“This award means a lot to me,” said Snider. “We’re having an awesome season and the credit goes to my teammates, my supportive coaching staff and this wonderful organization. I couldn’t be happier.”

Depending on the results of this weekend’s games, the showdown will be televised on ABC, ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPNU and will be announced by Sept. 15.

With a career-high 179 yards receiving in Maryland’s 47-10 win over Old Dominion on Saturday, wide receiver Stefon Diggs has been voted the Atlantic Coast Conference’s Receiver of the Week, the league announced on Monday.
