The sixth-ranked Maryland field hockey team will head north to Storrs, Conn. this weekend for the NCAA Tournament First and Second Rounds. The Terrapins (16-5) will take on Patriot League champion Lafayette College (17-2) Saturday afternoon.

Leading playmaker Stefon Diggs, a wide receiver and kick returner, was wearing a walking boot on Tuesday.The injury is not believed to be serious, but the team won’t release information about the player’s status for Saturday’s game at Clemson until Thursday’s injury report.

The fifth-ranked Maryland women’s basketball team used its dominant inside presence and a strong second half surge to top Goldey-Beacom College, 84-46, Monday in an exhibition match at Comcast Center.

I just watched the replay of the Ravens victory over the Browns. Of course after 1 or 2 series of the 2nd quarter , I fast forwarded the game to the final 12 minutes. Can a team play worse offensively then the Purple did in the  2nd and 3rd quarters?
