Terps freshman Stefon Diggs was named the Atlantic Coast Conference Rookie of the Week after his performance in Saturday’s 31-21 loss to West Virginia, the league announced Monday.

Junior Hayley Brock and senior Becky Kaplan did it again, each scoring a goal to lead the No. 17 University of Maryland women’s soccer team to a 2-1 victory at No. 15 Wake Forest Sunday afternoon at Spry Stadium.

For Kaplan, the goal is her team-leading ninth of the year and her fifth game-winner of the season. Brock now has six goals on the season and the goal vs. the Demon Deacons is her fifth in four ACC matches.
