According to terrapintimes.com, New Mexico center Alex Kirk reported that Gary’s visit went over as a great one. Apparently Kirk will take an official vist to College Park.
The combination of the Terps making the NCAA s lat year and some positive academic performances injected one more year on his contract. Gary’s remaining term is now 4 years according to terrapintimes.com.
Terrapintimes.com reported last night that Harris’ coach said the visit went very well for the Terps. Terrence Jones gets an in home visit Sept 23.
Terence has signed to play for four years with Spain’s Regal FC Barcelona, where he will be teammates with Ricky Rubio.

TT.com reports that Freshman James Padgett has been doing very well in the pickup games at College Park. I first saw James at the Under armour Game at Towson and he thoroughly dominated the game. He could be the rebounding , physical force the Terps have not had for years.

I never like to overanalyze a schedule before the season, but this years Terrapin schedule is pretty typical. It has the usual run of 7 games before New Year’s that should be in the win column.
