Despite words from zagsblog.com yesterday that Maryland was out,  Lance Stephenson today said it was still between the 3 schools -St Johns, Kansas, and Maryland. Is there still hope Born Ready could be a Terp—-yes but not much. I guess we will play the waiting game. Perhaps this might give the coaching staff more time to impress the young man.

Adam Zagoria reported in zagsblog, com last night that Lance Stephenson has narrowed his college choices to St John’s and Kansas. Born Ready has postponed his announcement day to April 1 in Miami when he plays in the McDonald’s game.  This seems to indicate that Kansas might be the winner of the one and done Lance. For Terps fans this is somewhat disappointing but the indications were never evident that Born Ready was going to be a Terp. I … Read More »

When I closed the show on Thursday night, my final comment was “Greivis will lead his troops into the big dance” Let all the Greivis detractors hide their heads in the sand. What a performance, a near triple double. Sean Mosley came up with a big 12 point game. But the “Maestro” Gary Williams thoroughly outcoached Dino Gaudio. Maryland answered the famous Wake 1-3-1 half court trap immediately with easy layups. THIS GAME WAS NEVER IN DOUBT!!! Wake Forest #9 … Read More »

Eric and Greivis combined for 38 tonight as the Terrapins took step 1 towards Redemption by defeating the Wolfpack for the second time in 2 weeks. After trailing by double digits early, Greivis stepped up and began to manuever the ball to a open Eric Hayes who began his assault on the 3 point line. Dino Gregory contributed some strong minutes tonight for the Terps.  When Eric Hayes hits his 3s, the Terps win. Freshman Julius Mays ledthe  Wolfpack  with … Read More »

This one is for taters John. Now that everyone has abandoned the Terrapins and its chances to make the big dance let me tell you why the improbable will happen. The funny part of my scenario is that I am more scared of the game on Thursday against the Wolfpack than the next game on Friday. Let’s face it, the confidence of the team has to be shattered but Greivis is probably making his last stand and if he plays … Read More »

dave-neal-wake-09  With 7 minutes to go, the Terrapins were up 54-48, and what happened after that is nothing but a blur. Some observations :

Dave Neal’s stats : 7-11 from the field (Including 5-6 from the 3 point line.) Dave’s 19 points were a career high.

Greivis started off on fire but then Gaudio put Double J on him and Greivis wound up with 7-24 from the field.

Mosley played great in his 23 minutes creating havoc all over … Read More »
