Former Maryland guard Logan Aronhalt has signed a 10-month contract to play basketball with Assigeco Casalpusterlengo in Italy.
Aronhalt, who averaged 6.0 points per game as an off-the-bench 3-point threat in his lone season with the Terrapins, signed a contract last Friday while playing in a Las Vegas showcase and will leave for Italy on August 15.
With Casalpusterlengo, Aronhalt will have an opportunity to display his scoring ability after knocking down 43.4 percent of his 3-point attempts last season.

Maryland men’s basketball coach Mark Turgeon believes that you can never have enough shooters. That philosophy was proven again Sunday, when rising senior swingman Jared Nickens orally committed to the Terps after taking a visit to College Park over the weekend.

University of Maryland men’s basketball head coach Mark Turgeon announced today that junior point guard Pe’Shon Howard has been granted permission to transfer for his senior season.
Howard (6-3, 190 lbs) averaged 3.3 points and 3.6 assists in 36 games with 24 starts in 2012-13. In his three seasons at Maryland, Howard averaged 4.7 points and 3.5 assists in 83 career games with 44 starts.
