Mason Plumlee looked like he was in the wrong league last night as thoroughly dominated the Terrapin bigs finishing with 23 points and 12 rebounds as The Terps hung around until the final 3 minute mark but lost to #3 Duke by 13. Some comments on the night:
The ceremony to name the court after Gary was brief but filled with wild enthusiasm from the crowd. Gary was sincerely touched holding back his emotion in the post press conference. It was … Read More »

Some thoughts 36 Hours after a valiant effort by Maryland:
Alex Len’s exit may have sealed the Terps doom Saturday morning but apparently his ankle injury was minor as terrapin times.com reports he will play against Duke.
A great contingent of Terrapin fans showed up at the Palestra and were treated to a great comeback rally by the Terps that fell about 5 minutes short
PeShon turned in his best offensive performance of the year finishing with 15 points on … Read More »
What hurts the most about this game is my concern over Sean Mosley’s ankle injury. He had playing so well of late yet in every press conference Turgeon speaks about Sean’s ankle. Knowing Sean he would play no matter what against Temple but at this point is it not wise to sit him, and give him 8 days rest for Duke.
Padgett, Pankey and Len were pummeled by the FSU bigs tonight. Unfortunately it is becoming a pattern on the … Read More »
For the record I was not in 2 places at one time today. I ecstatically made the drive to College Park after the Ravens game and arrived for the decisive 2nd half at 5PM.
Sean was special today, going 10-10 from the could line and hitting a crucial 3 after Terch pulled to within 4. I talked to him after the game and will play the interview on Terp Talk Thursday night.
Stogs had another off shooting night , going … Read More »

Well the X factor, Sean Mosley has the first 6 points for Maryland at the first break.
Biscotti, Plank are in the house tonight –as well as Tark.
Pankey is rebounding well with a little trouble finishing as Stoglin’s first bucket of the game -a 3–putting the Terps up 14-11 at the 12 minute mark.
BTW Nick Faust started in place of Stogs tonight. Probably a minor infraction as Terrell came in after a few minutes.

Anxiously awaiting Wednesday night–here is my take on Sunday’s game
Moral victories stink but I’ll take this one. The Terps continued to have those spells of no offense but basically they fought to the end, and kept the game very close. there was not an ounce of quit on the court.
Len, Stoglin and Moseley had the 49 I thought it would be necessary to win but PeShon and Nick were quiet scoring. Alex had a double double (12,11) but … Read More »
