This game was ours for the taking. Special teams lapses, 11 penalties, and the inability to convert key opportunities did the Terps in again.

The day got off to a bad start when it was announced that Terrapin guard Deon Wiley was out indefinitely witha torn meniscus problem. Then Terrapin nation was shocked to hear the words “Roll tide” from Trevon Diggs after assuming Stefon’s baby brother was a lock to attend Maryland. Then the homecoming game began.
