Former Florida defensive back J.C. Jackson is planning to enroll at Maryland and will arrive on campus this week, according to a person with knowledge of the situation.

Duquesne graduate transfer LG Gill has committed to Maryland, he told Scout.

Gill, a 6-foot-7 power forward, will be eligible to play for Mark Turgeon immediately. Statistically, Gill consistently got better at Duquesne and last season averaged 10.1 points and 6.5 rebounds a game.

Gill took a pair of visits when he opted to transfer from Duquesne. He visited Maryland officially this past weekend and previously visited Marquette.
