1. Inconsistency at Quarterback – Drew Allen started the season, but Terrel Hunt is now the guy after Allen struggled out of the gate. Hunt was superb against Wagner and Tulane, but they are Wagner and Tulane. In the ACC, he has yet to throw a touchdown pass and has six interceptions. He was better last week against Wake Forest, as he did not throw an INT for the first time in conference play. But he still missed wide open players … Read More »
Mike Madaras:
“This was a difficult decision, but after spending a lot of time thinking about my future and talking with my family, I have realized that my heart is not in the game of football or going to college at this time. I did not think it was fair to my teammates to be out there playing when I didn’t share their passion for the game. I appreciate all of the support from Coach Edsall and the rest … Read More »

What a horrible day for Maryland!! Not so much because the Terps lost an ACC road game in what was their last visit perhaps ever to Wake Forest, but because their 2 playmakers suffered season ending injuries. I just have an empty feeling in the pit of my stomach worrying about the health and recovery of Stefon and Deon.
I am at a loss for words to describe the incredible injury misfortune that has fallen upon my Terps—again. The hope … Read More »

This is London’s fourth season as head coach at Virginia, where his record is 18-24. The Ball State game drew fewer than 40,000 fans to Scott Stadium, and many UVa supporters are unhappy with the state of the football program.
London overhauled his staff after the 2012 season, hiring new coordinators for offense (Steve Fairchild), defense (Jon Tenuta) and special teams (Larry Lewis). He remains confident those changes will pay dividends for a team that has few … Read More »

Opening Statement:
“It’s going to be a lot of fun Saturday to be able to go up to M&T Bank Stadium and play in Baltimore. I know our guys are excited about it to get up there and play in a great venue in the biggest city in the state. We know we got a tremendous challenge. We haven’t beaten West Virginia in seven [straight games]. They’re a very good football team that is playing well … Read More »
Maryland will unleash its fury on WVU’s Freshman QB Ford Childress (#7, FR, 6’5″-234). Like Maryland’s freshman QBs last year , Childress has much to learn. The history of Maryland playing in Baltimore is a winning one. Much more later in the week.
On CJ Brown
