As the 2011-12 years winds down with only a few events left, my thoughts turn excitingly to what I believe with all my heart will be a turnaround season for Randy Edsall and the Maryland Football squad. From what I have witnessed the attitude and spirit of the team is exactly where it should be. The addition of Stefon Diggs, Wes Brown, and the rest of the Freshman class will energize this team, and has already lifted the efforts of … Read More »

Here’s my problem with tonight’s 9PM game: The Irish are superb in putting pressure on their opponents. The Terps have trouble keeping their turnovers to a minimum. The Terps have a decided inside edge. I know I haven’y been overly positive about the Terps this year but that is only because that turnover problem disrupts my opinion. Yet 30-4 isn’t that bad of a record. I was at Comcast the night the Terps came back from 20 against Georgia Tech.

“With our scheme changes defensively, the Sam and Will are two of the most critical components of the scheme and I wanted Lyndon devoting his full attention to these positions,” Edsall said. Last season, Johnson … Read More »
