I’ll admit it up front. I’m not a good photographer but I try. Wayne, Mason and I talk over some of the photos I took at the Tewaaraton Awards Ceremony last Thursday night. I hope you enjoy them.
As I have said repeatedly, there was just no way Taylor wasn’t going to win the award again. She was far and away the best player in Women’s lacrosse in the country and arguably one of the best ever. Taylor finished the season with: 100 points (63 goals, 37 assists) and ranked in the top five in draw controls (143) and points per game (4.55). She also was eighth in caused turnovers with 36.
The players on the Maryland men’s lacrosse tribe likely have a word to describe John Tillman. That word is coach.
The members of my tribe also have a word to describe John Tillman.

Make no bones about it–this one really hurts. After a miraculous game and victory over Johns Hopkins on Saturday, I never saw this kind of a game coming. It was almost a carbon copy of the NCAA Championship loss to Loyola.
