The University of Maryland women’s soccer team has earned a No. 4 seed in the 2012 NCAA Tournament and will host Stony Brook in the tournament’s first round. The seventh-ranked Terrapins will take on the Seawolves on Saturday, Nov. 10, at Ludwig Field at 7 p.m.

Saturday night Greivis and the Hornets went into Chicago and easily defeated the Bulls. Greivis had 18 points and 4 assists. The Hornets are now 2-1 with Senor at the point.

Last night Steve Blake started in place of the injured Steve Nash, played 32 strong minutes as the Lakers easily won 108-79 over Detroit. This was the first game Blake started and as well as the first win of the year for Kobe’s guys.

North Carolina bested Missy’s troops 4-2 in what seems to be the inevitable Championship match up between the Terps and Tar Heels. Maryland fell behind 2 zip and onle could only close the gap to 2-1 and 3-2 before a late goal by Carolina sealed the ACC Title.

UVA dominated #8 Maryland 4-0 in the Soccer final.

Both teams await their seeding and destination for game 1 of the NCAA playoffs.

COLLEGE PARK, Md. – Freshman guard Seth Allen scored 16 points, Nick Faust had 13, and Maryland bounced back from a poor first half to beat Indiana University of Pennsylvania 73-61 in an exhibition game Friday night.
