Tough couple of days for the Terrapins. Devin Burns and Perry Hills being out for the year with inures is one thing but the absurdity of not letting Dez play after being wrongly accused, and then completely exonerated by the DA defies logic and more important fairness.
Fortunately Maryland is not taking this decision lightly and has immediately appealed. I assume this case is far from over and hopefully Dez will receive justice.
Did the layoff bury the Tigers again? Seems like it.
Guess I was wrong about Verlander. Though it’s only a 1-0 deficit, it just seems like if you can get to Verlander the Tigers are dead.
