The Orioles have bounced back from tough losses all year. Hopefully tomorrow will be more of the same. The rain delay was borderline unbearable because no one knew anything that was happening.

Have our bats gone a little cold. Jones, Wieters and Reynolds are just not connecting like they had been.

The fact that Markakis is so sorely missed in this series was exacerbated by watching the culprit of his injury, CC Sabathia just mesmorize the O’s.

It seems some Orioles fans have not been able to forget what happened in the fifth inning at Camden Yards on the night of September 8. The Yankees’ CC Sabathia hit Nick Markakis with a pitch on his left thumb. Markakis suffered a broken thumb and has been out of the lineup ever since.

Tonight when the Orioles face Sabathia again, in Game 1 of the American League Division Series, they want to beat him to win this series and … Read More »

 another look at the game

The Situation: This Sunday’s match-up between the Baltimore Ravens and the Kansas City Chiefs offers not much of a guessing game as the Ravens are highly favored to outlast the Ravens in a big way as the Chiefs are on a dire slide with three blowout losses early in the season and they are not expected to untangle the big mess they are caught in anytime soon. And not against the highly revitalized Ravens who is … Read More »

The highlight of the post game celebration for the Orioles was watching Buck watching his “kids ”  party. Curt Schilling commented that the O’s are laying everything on the line for their skip. Somehow or another the Yankees probably just put up with Girardi. Something for every fan to remember–it was CC Sabathia, the starter tonight , who took Nick out of the post season. He must pay for his crime!!!!!!!!!!!! Game time 6:15 tonight. Perhaps the toughest ticket at … Read More »

NC State 17   #3 FSU  16—a big blow to the ACC as if there hasn’t been enough already. Incredibly poor clock management by Jimbo Fisher. NC State was 1st and goal from the 4  with a 1;17 left. Jimbo never called a timeout and there were only 16 seconds left when FSU got the ball. Bye Bye National Championship.
