Patrick Mullins’ first half goal was the difference as No. 1 Maryland remained unbeaten in 2012 with a 1-0 victory over Virginia Friday night at Ludwig Field.

The Maryland (9-0-1, 4-0-0 ACC) backline of Taylor KempLondon WoodberryDakota Edwards and Mikey Ambrose once again held strong for the Terrapins’ sixth shutout of the season.

Each week during the 2012-13 season a Maryland student-athlete, who has shown excellence on and off the playing field, will be selected as the Solomon Eye Associates Terp of the Week. This week’s Solomon Eye Associates Terp of the Week is Sean Bosdosh from the men’s golf team. Bosdosh shot a 4-under 212 at the 54-hole event to capture the first individual title by a Terp since October of 2010.

Time to move on as they say. Roddy is 6’4 180 and would be a tremendous addition to Maryland basketball. the competition is stiff: UCLA. Xavier, Georgetown, and now Kansas.

Remember no 2nd guessing of Buck is allowed. Joe Saunders lifetime at Arlington is 0-6 with a 9.38 ERA. We all know Buck sometimes goes with his gut.

I am mentally and physically sick over the Harrison twins decision. Just the thought of our great, standup Coach Turgeon losing out to a program destroyer like Calipari is enough to make me sick.There is no couching this–the Harrison twins would have been the best recruits that ever landed at Maryland.
