It was still nice to be in 1st Place for a day.
Reynolds is a stud. Mark slammed a 2 run HR in the 9th to give the o’s hope. But Quintanilla looked at strike 3 to end the game. Sickening!! The seldom used 2nd baseman is now 0-27. Can even Busk be that patient to use him again?
Thursday’s night game has become the toughest ticket in recent memory. Please no calls Thursday –I can’t help!!!

The phenom allowed 6 hits, but 1 run in 6 innings at Bowie as the Baysox win the first game of the playoffs. I have had a feeling that we might see Dylan at Camden Yards before the year is out.. Just a feeling

Supporting events to my hypothesis:
Dez Wells chooses Maryland and mark Turgeon over Kentucky, and Memphis. Please don’t tell me about this late registration excuse for Kentucky failing to land the A10 Freshman of the year. Kentucky has left any academic problem prevent them from securing the player it wants.
Maryland now has depth, the likes of which we haven’t seen since Gary’s Final 4 years and 7 sweet sixteen run in 10 seasons
Rysheed Jordan coming to Midnight Madness
Most of this nation including my friend Cliff Gelb still believes the Yankees will prevail. WAKE UP!!! There’s a new sheriff in town–his name is Buck –His chief deputy is Mark Reynolds and his posse is too numerous to mention. After a 12-0 thrashing of Toronto the O’s are 76-59–tied with the Yankees for 1st. Zach Britton was brilliant–again–last night going 7 innings allowing just 4 hits with 2 walks. Mark Reynolds again popped a 3 run dinger. Ain’t the … Read More »

But Turgeon didn’t sign Xavier’s top returning scorer to have him for this season. It would be a nice bonus, but it’s not a necessity.
Turgeon said he has tried to balance the classes at his previous stops at Wichita State and Texas A&M, adding four-year transfers along the way.
“What we’ve tried to do is sprinkle in good freshmen with transfers,” he said. “It’s an avenue I’ve taken with every program. Is it something we’ll do every year? I … Read More »

Hokies 20 Georgia Tech 17—Virginia Tech wins in Overtime despite Beamer’s timeout fiasco. I only wish The Hokies would have lost this game just to hear the Blacksburg faithfull lambast Beamer. As GTech was drivingfor a go ahead TD, Beamer held on to his 3 timeouts causing a helter skelter drive that started with 44 seconds left and Vtech downby 3. His QB and placekicker bailed him out with a 42 yard FG to send the game into OR. Yes … Read More »
