Maryland was not able to reel in five-star defensive tackle Eddie Goldman in the 2012 class, but that apparently didn’t stop the Terps staff from working Goldman’s old high school. Maryland just picked up a trio of prospects out of Friendship Collegiate Academy led by 4-star offensive linemanDerwin Gray

With Gray, Maryland is getting a big, athletic OL, who could potentially fit as an O-Tackle or a guard. We do see a player who still needs more development … Read More »

It’s funny, I watched Neil Diamond on the American Idol a few weeks back and was disappointed. Since we already had tickets, there was no turning back. Well, surprise he was great last night. America, Forever in Blue Jeans, and of course Sweet Caroline stood out for me.  He played for about 2 hours straight , no intermission and allowed me time enough to get home to watch the 4th quarter of the OKC Heat game.

I expected Miami to come out strong and they did tonight. A lot of times you build a big lead and the home team makes arun. But usually the run ends unsuccessfully as the team that makes the late run, runs out of gas.

Almost these exact words were told to Kevin Costner playing farmer Ray Kinsella in Field of Dreams (the exact quote is, “If you build it, he will come”). The combination of Andy MacPhail and Dan Duquette has built it. Now the fans are starting to come and for the Orioles this season, it seems as though they’ve been playing on a field of dreams.

Lost in the fact that the Oriole’s are on a season-high tying five game winning streak with their 12-6 … Read More »

Miami over OKC  —-everyone is jumping off the Miami bandwagon but Game 1 was a learning experience for the Heat. They now know they can’t run with the Thunder. Spoestra must realize the guy to cut off is Wetbrook. KD can’t be stopped but throw Westbrook off his game and the Heat will win. Heat 102 OKC 98
