Must see TV!!!!
Any way you look at this game it looks like a Raven victory.
I will be anxious to see who takes a visit to Revis island. With Lee Evans out it seems to me Torrey is the one for the Jets to worry about. Albeit the ex TErp has only had 1 good game, he seems to be the guy who can take another team down. Then again with the Jets porous run defense I guess it will be another … Read More »
Observations of a somewhat dull, methodical victory for the Terps
My first thoughts post game were how do we get through the maze of the next 3 games. Georgia Tech has been scoring at an incredible pace, Clemson destroyed the Hokies on the road and FSU is well FSU.
Davin Meggett stood out for me for the offense today–seeming to run at will even absorbing some brutal hits.
Joe Vellano had an excellent game chasing down several of the Tigers.
This former Maryland target will be a Demon Deacon in 2012. I only write this because I believe the shift of Eastern and Mid Atlantic players is back to the ACC. It is not an accident and the future will bear me out.
Tonight I saw something special. I went to the final Os game. I got there in the 6th inning and we were losing 2-3. The crowd was mostly obnoxious Red Sox fans. There was a long rain delay in the seventh. During it, on the big scoreboard/screen they showed Tampa come back from an 0-7 game to tie the Yankees at 7-7 in the ninth. This comes as no surprise to me. Red Sox nation would never put up with this disastrous collapse. Second guessing is running wild throughout New England. Francona has to go –no chance of extending this failure. The sweetest night in baseball history has just taken a new victim. The Orioles stood tall, fought like warriors, WE ARE BACK!!!!! Every Oriole fans can feel it. Change is in the wind.

Can Creighton who has not allowed a goal this year be able to stop Casey Townsend? Should be a great game.
Senior All-American Jasmyne Spencerreturned to the starting lineup and scored the game-winning goal for the No. 11 University of Maryland women’s soccer team in its 2-1 victory at Clemson Thursday night at Riggs Field.
The Terps (8-2-3/2-2-1 ACC), who have had trouble starting quickly in recent matches, didn’t waste any time getting things going vs. the Tigers (5-6-0/0-4-0 ACC).
Yes it was the perfect storm. Of course the best part of it was that yes the Orioles played a major role in the dismantling of the Red Sox. what made it special was the timing of the endings and the improbabilities of the comebacks. Papelbon looked unhittable striking out AJ and Reynolds. But then the roof caved in on a team that has humiliated the O’s over the past decade. Let’s go back to July 8 when Francona found … Read More »
